Janesville police have arrested a man authorities say they’d been searching for on suspicion of repeated domestic violence since Wednesday.

Police say 32-year-old Dylan Demrow was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Friday at a home in the 1500 block of Highland Avenue.

Earlier this week, police had issued a public alert, saying Demrow was “wanted” for “pending criminal charges,” but at that time, authorities did not disclose what Demrow was suspected of doing.

Police say they arrested Demrow Friday on counts of disorderly conduct, domestic abuse, and felony bail jumping.

Court records show Demrow has had a rash of arrests in recent months, including for repeated domestic violence, trespassing, attacking police and possessing a gun against parole orders.

Demrow faces criminal hearings on earlier felony charges, but he’s been released on bond at least three different times over the last year. He was most recently released from the Rock County jail in January on a $1,000 bond, and he faces a hearing in the coming week for a set of criminal misdemeanor charges.
