A candidate forum for a contentious Rock County Board of Supervisor’s race is on pause.

The Rock County Civics Academy made what they call a “difficult” decision to cancel an event planned for February 21st featuring the District 14 candidates.

Organizer Rich Gruber says there were logistics, technical, and candidate participation issues.

The District 14 candidates include incumbent Mike Zoril and challenger Phillip Gorman.

Gruber says the six people running for Janesville City Council will participate in a candidate forum at 6:00 p.m. on February 29th at UW-Whitewater at Rock County.
