The Rock County Sheriff’s Office executes a search warrant on a home in Beloit as a result of an investigation into human trafficking.
According to a news release the SWAT team searched the home on the 1500 block of Porter Avenue around 6:30 Thursday morning along with the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigations, and Beloit Police.
Sergeant Kevin Skatrud says nine people were in the home at the time of the search and one of them was arrested on an active warrant not related to human trafficking.
Skatrud couldn’t say if there were any victims present, or if any suspects remain at large.
The news release indicates there is no current threat to the community and the investigation remains open.
