Portions of various parking areas will be closed to the public starting Wednesday night and into Thursday afternoon until about 3:30pm.

According to a release from the city, impacted parking areas include: parking stalls adjacent 20 South Main Street, in the South Main Street public parking lot, located at 27 South Main, and parking stalls adjacent to 101 East Milwaukee in the public parking lot between 15 North Main and 101 East Milwaukee.

Additional areas impacted include five on street parking stalls in front of 60 South Main Street and areas along South Water Street behind 8 South Main.

The Janesville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau is coordinating filming and photography for tourism promotion during the closures.
