As the City of Janesville completes an update to its Parks and Open Space Plan, it’s asking for residents input on the future of city parks.

Parks Director Cullen Slapak says a quick survey is available online at the city’s website or in person at city hall and asks residents what they would like to see in potential future parks as well as how current parks are maintained.

Slapak says the Parks and Open Space Plan is mainly for the DNR, and shows them how city parks have grown and how amenities compare to national averages.

Residents have until Monday to fill out the survey.
