A Janesville woman will join her partner on probation for producing methamphetamine.
46-year-old Stacey Utterberg pleaded guilty to manufacturing and delivery of meth and bail jumping, while a handful of related charges were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
Rock County Judge Karl Hanson agreed to withhold sentencing on the felony charges Wednesday and placed her on five years probation, the same amount her partner 48-year-old James Bjork was sentenced to in February.
Utterberg was also ordered to serve four months of conditional jail time, while Bjork is currently serving a year of incarceration.
Both were arrested in April of 2019 following a raid by the Rock County Sheriff’s Department at a building just south of Janesville, where police found a meth-making operation.
Five months later, they were charged on a separate discovery of an SUV they used as a mobile meth lab.
