
A parent of a Janesville Parker student has been arrested after making a threat to a school employee, according to Janesville Police.
According to a release, the School Resource Officer assigned to Parker was notified at about 12:45pm (Tuesday) that Kevin Moore, a parent to a student at the school, had made a threat to bring a gun to school and confront a Parker School Administrator.
The release says approximately 15 minutes later Moore arrived at Parker and was confronted by the resource officer in the vestibule outside the secure entrance into the school, and Moore admitted to having a firearm in his vehicle and a loaded 9 millimeter was later located in his vehicle.
Moore was taken into custody and faces charges of disorderly conduct while armed and possession of a firearm in a school zone.
