A 27-year-old Milton man is accused of having sex with a 14-year-old.

Derek J. Singkofer is charged in Rock County Court with repeated sexual assault of a child.

According to the criminal complaint, the investigation was sparked when the victim submitted a tip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The victim told police Singkofer forced them to give him oral sex several times, and had intercourse at a residence in Milton in 2022 and 2023.

Janesville Police issued a warrant for Singkofer’s arrest on Tuesday.
