A 31-year-old Janesville man who was arrested last month for fleeing police and hit-and-run is bound over for trial.

Jonathan Richardson appeared before Rock County Court Commissioner Jack Hoag last week where he waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of fleeing an officer, second-degree recklessly endangering safety, resisting an officer, and two counts of bail jumping.

According to the criminal complaint, Richardson was arrested with the assistance of a drone when he fled after crashing his jeep following a chase early the morning of March 10th. Two occupants were left inside Richardson’s vehicle.

Richardson is currently being held in the Rock County Jail on a $15,000 cash bond. He’s due back in court for his arraignment Tuesday.
