Edgerton Hospital is offering a new alternative for patients dealing with non-emergency ailments who are unable to be seen within one or two days be their primary provider.

Chief Nursing Officer Alison Hanaman says Quick Care will offer stitches, wound repair, testing for strep, UTIs, STDs, and common upper respiratory viruses.

Quick Care patients needing x-ray, or other radiological services, will be referred to the emergency department at nearby Edgerton Hospital.

Quick Care is located next to Edward Jones at 4 Burdick Street.

No appointment is needed, and most patients are expected to be seen and, on their way, within about an hour.
