Runners can now register for the 12th Annual Discover Whitewater Series set for September.

Executive Director Jeffery Knight says the annual 5k and half marathons not only raise money for local charities, but they are able to highlight the city and all the things that make Whitewater special.

Knight says people can register by visiting runwhitewater.com, and they can take advantage of early bird pricing for the rest of January.

Since being established in 2013, the race has raised more than $274,000 for local charities.
