The Beloit Historical Society has had to list the historic Hanchett-Bartlett home up for sale.

Executive Director Donna Langford says a change in field trip policies at local school districts brought a halt to educational programs at the home, and the pandemic created a dip in volunteers willing to work at the home.

Langford says the home is a Beloit Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and they hope the next owners will honor its historical heritage.
