A Janesville man is in jail after police say an investigation tied him to a home full of guns, cash, cannabis and thousands of counterfeit fentanyl pills.

According to a release, the Janesville police street crimes unit along with state and federal drug task forces arrested 25-year-old Cedric L. Sanders on a probation violation.

Police said it came during a sting by Janesville police, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation served a warrant on a mobile home at 1444 Starling Lane on Monday.

There they found a pound of cannabis, four handguns, almost $13,000 in cash, and more than 4,000 pills containing the opioid pain killer fentanyl.

Police say Sanders has several drug and gun charges pending related to an investigation detectives say involved the sale of counterfeit fentanyl pills.
