Two new election reforms are in place for the upcoming April election.

Last week Governor Tony Evers signed two bills authored by State Senator Mark Spretizer.

The Beloit Democrat says the first bill removes confusing statutory language related to the timeline for sending absentee ballots during presidential preference primaries.

The second bill ensures that those who commit violations of Wisconsin campaign finance law are not able to control campaign committee funds after they are convicted.
