A 28-year-old Janesville man who’s arrest led to the seizure of three-and-a-half pounds of cocaine, four-and-a-half pounds of marijuana, six guns, and $75,000 in cash, is held on a $100,000 cash bond.

Taiwan Edwards appeared before Court Commissioner Jack Hoag Monday afternoon on charges of possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession with intent to deliver THC and second degree recklessly endangering safety.

Edwards was arrested last week at Kwik Trip on East Milwaukee Street in Janesville by a Wisconsin State Patrol K-9 officer.

Edwards had been the subject of a drug investigation conducted by the Janesville Police Department’s street crimes unit and the Wisconsin Department of Justice.

As part of the investigation three search warrants were served by members of the street crimes unit, DCI, the DEA, Wisconsin State Patrol, and Beloit Police.
