A Rock County Judge follows the terms of a plea agreement and sends a workplace shooter to prison for three decades.

Kevin Todd plead guilty in May to a single count of second-degree intentional homicide. Three additional charges of first-degree recklessly endangering safety were dismissed but read into the record.

Todd had originally been charged with first-degree intentional homicide in connection with the death of 30-year-old Devon Hills of Janesville in April of 2022 at Precision Drawn Metals.

Todd claimed that bullying led to the shooting, although the two only worked together for about seven days.

In addition to 30 years in prison, Judge Barbara McCrory sentenced Todd Thursday morning to 10 years of extended supervision.
