The Rock County Historical Society is holding an open house gallery featuring more than 100 paintings from a popular local artist.
Executive Director Timothy Maahs says Ken Marsden has decided to donate his work to the RCHS, and the art will be available from sale (Wednesday) evening from 5:00 to 7:30 in the gift shop.
Maahs says Marsden’s paintings are done in watercolor and feature Wisconsin landscapes, and he has a beautiful eye for the unusual and makes you look at things a little bit differently.
Artwork will be available for sale at a 15% discount from Wednesday until Sunday, after which pieces will still be for sale in the gift shop.
