There will be a new face on the Beloit City Council, taking over for Clinton Anderson who is stepping down after being elected to the State Assembly.

The addition of Yusuf Adama means the Beloit City Council has a black majority for the first time in history.

The other two candidates who will retain their seats are Incumbents Sherry Blakeley and Nancy Forbeck.
