The 57-year-old Milton man accused of sexually assaulting a patient at a Milton assisted living facility last year takes a plea deal in Rock county court.

Douglas Hearn plead no contest to two counts of disorderly conduct Thursday morning after having been originally charged with two counts of second degree sexual assault of a mentally ill victim.

According to online court records, Judge Jeffrey Kuglitsch sentenced Hearn to serve two years of probation and 25 hours of community service. He’s not allowed to be employed by a licensed personal care facility during his probation.

A criminal complaint says the victim’s sister began to suspect the sexual assaults after she appeared shaken up and trembling after a trip outside of Heartwarming House with Hearn.

Hearn’s DNA was found on the victim’s clothing. Officers determined Hearn had likely engaged in skin-to-skin contact with the victim.
