Less than a week away from election day, Democratic Candidate for US Senate Mandela Barnes makes a pit stop in Janesville.
Barnes spoke in the parking lot of Havana Coffee and urged those in attendance to get out and vote, noting that the last three November elections were decided by 30,000 or fewer votes.
Barnes then spoke on union jobs, saying opponent Ron Johnson doesn’t stand up for union workers.
One resident in attendance cited the closing down of HufCor, with Barnes saying he’s seen similar instances across the state.
Next Tuesday’s ballot sees Barnes up against incumbent Ron Johnson for Wisconsin’s US Senate seat.
