A local non-profit will have more money to help those in the community after an anonymous donor makes it possible to save thousands every month.

Executive Director Jessica Locher says the solar project currently being installed on ECHO’s roof will help the service agency save 75 percent on utilities each month.

Locher says ECHO would never have been able to fund the project with it’s budget and it will add up to a savings of about $1000 a month.

Locher says the money ECHO will save every month will allow ECHO to provide an extra 3000 meals in the community.
