The 19-year-year-old Madison man accused of shooting Jion Broomfield to death in January outside of a Beloit Memorial High School basketball game is bound over for trial.

Prosecutor David Olson questioned Beloit Police Detective Amber Davies during Amaree Goodall’s preliminary hearing in Rock County Court Friday afternoon.

In filing a motion to dismiss the single charge of first degree reckless homicide, defense attorney Kim Zion argued that the clothing used to describe defendant Amaree Goodall was never recovered and that the witness never saw the shooter’s face.

Goodall was arrested in March in Holland, Michigan. He’s currently being held on a $500,000 cash bond.
