A local nonprofit is searching for a new leader to carry on it’s mission of empowering women and eliminating racism.

YWCA Rock County executive director Angela Moore says she retired after spending 21 days in the hospital with COVID and continuing to suffer with long COVID.

Moore says she will remain active in the community.

The YWCA’s board of directors has already begun the search for Moore’s replacement, officially posting the job this week.
