The thickening ice on the Traxler Park Park lagoon is good news for the Blackhawk Golden K Kiwanis Club.

Spokesperson Glen Disrude says the deadline to place the Chevy Suburban on the Traxler Park Lagoon for the Truck on Ice contest is February 12th.

Disrude says you can purchase tickets to guess when the truck will sink at Rotary Botanical Gardens or Mac’s Pizza Shack.

Disrude says if the truck can’t be placed on the Ice by February 12th, a simple raffle will be held to determine the winners.
