The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is honoring one of its retiring officers.  Canine Deputy Sasha retired after a more than eight-year career Tuesday.  Sasha was partnered with Deputy Nate DeBoer and was primarily assigned to the patrol division.  Highlights of Sasha’s career including tracking a subject more than a mile after a drunk driving crash in 2015, defending two Edgerton Police Officers during the apprehension of a suspect in 2016, and helping the Beloit Police Department track a shooting suspect in 2019.  In all, Canine Deputy Sasha conducted more than 150 tracks and 600 drug related searches.  Sasha will remain with her partner and his family as she transitions into retirement.
