The Pages to Pavement 5k & 1 Mile Run/Walk is a fundraiser partnership organized by the Clinton Education Foundation and the new Community Activities Program through the Clinton Community School District. The community event is focused on promoting literacy, raising funds for student scholarships, and fostering community engagement. The event features stroller-friendly routes with the 1 Mile Run/Walk including a fun storybook along the route alongside a timed 5k Run/Walk. Additional activities include a pancake breakfast hosted by Sirens & Iron, Inc. between 7:30-11:00am (you do not have to participate in the event to enjoy breakfast), and children’s activities facilitated by Clinton Library and Literacy for Life between 8:30-11:00am. Participants are encouraged to register early to save $5 by August 26 and join in the effort to support local students and promote the joy of reading. Day of registration is available up until 15 minutes prior to race start time. 1 Mile begins at 8:30am and 5K begins at 9:00am. Sign up at www.clintonactivities.com.
