The Janesville Lions Club’s 12th annual Chicken Roast will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6 in Traxler Park in downtown Janesville.
Tickets are $13 in advance online or from any Lions Club member. Advance ticket holders are guaranteed a dinner anytime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Each dinner includes: One-half grilled chicken, baked potato, applesauce, and a roll. Soda and bottled water can be purchased separately.
As an added bonus, each ticket comes with a coupon for $1 off a buffet purchase from Mac’s Pizza Shack!

This event will be held rain or shine. Eat your chicken dinner in the park, or drive-thru and carryout options will be available. We’ll also have some community-based organizations on hand with information, displays, and maybe even a few giveaways.
All proceeds support the Janesville Lions Club’s community programs and projects including vision-related services and assistance, scholarships for college-bound high school students, improvements to the Lions Beach facility and other local parks, and more
