Intro to Dahlias 3

Intro to Dahlias (Session 3): Dahlia Processing, from Purchase to Frost and Beyond

Dahlias are some of the most beautiful flowers, loved for their wide variety and brilliant colors. In this final session of our 3-part Intro to Dahlias series, you’ll learn how to prepare your tubers for overwintering so you can enjoy strong, healthy plants year after year.

This session includes both classroom instruction and a hands-on demonstration in the Gardens. You’ll practice lifting/digging up a plant, assessing tuber health, and storing dahlias successfully through the frost.
