Members of the City of Janesville’s police union will get a two percent raise next year under the contract ratified by the City Council.  Human Resources Director Sue Musick says the direct cost increase to the City over 2021 is just over $131-thousand.  Under the terms of the agreement, health plan contributions are estimated at 12 to 14 percent, with no changes to the health insurance plan design.  Musick says the Janesville Professional Police Association represents 87 budgeted positions including patrol officer, detective, street crimes unit, school liaison officer, and school resource officer.
