The town of Beloit works to get ahead of a predicted winter storm by declaring a snow emergency.

According to a news release, the snow emergency goes into affect at 6:00 Thursday morning and lasts until 6:00 Friday morning.

City ordinance mandates that vehicles may not be parked on town streets during the snow emergency.
