The Riverwalk project in Beloit gets a much needed boost from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. Money to help complete the section of the project near the Beloit College Powerhouse comes in the form of a $250-thousand grant. The new Riverwalk section will fill an 850-foot gap in public access to the riverfront. This includes access to Beloit College, Main Street and the soon-to-be-constructed downtown Riverbend Stadium.
