The Senior Resource Center invites the community to the Senior Lifestyle Expo, a free event designed to connect older adults, caregivers, and families with valuable resources to support healthy and independent living.

The Expo will be held on October 23 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon at the Freeport Eagles Club, 1200 W. Galena Avenue, Freeport. More than 50 organizations will be on hand to share information and answer questions on topics that matter most to older adults, including:
• Medicare coverage
• Assisted & independent living
• Health insurance & financial planning
• Home care & hospice care
• Medical equipment & mobility solutions
• Aging-in-place home improvements
• Physical therapy & long-term care
• Travel, recreation & education opportunities
• Free meals and community programs
• …and much more!

Attendees can also take advantage of free health screenings (vision, hearing, glucose, cholesterol, and balance). Free flu shots will be offered to anyone with an insurance card. A variety of giveaways will be available throughout the morning.

The event is free and open to the public—no registration required.
