A Rock County criminal complaint shines more light on an early morning high speed chase in Janesville the day after Christmas.

28-year-old Christopher Flores of Janesville is charged with three counts of second-degree recklessly endangering safety, two counts of attempting to flee and officer, battery to a law enforcement officer, obstructing an officer, and hit-and-run.

Janesville Police say an officer first tried to stop Flores after observing him driving the wrong way down Milton Avenue with no license plates just after 2:30 a.m.

Flores sped away, and continued to elude officers at speeds of up to 80 miles and hour while darting in and out of lanes of traffic. At one point he did donuts in an intersection, and rammed a squad car.

Flores was arrested following a short foot chase after his vehicle became disabled.

Flores is currently being held in the Rock County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond.
