The Rock County Sheriff’s Office announces the state plans to relocate a convicted sex offender to Janesville.

The sheriff’s office aims to relocate Michael L. Meyers to Rock Valley Community Programs at 203 W. Sunny Lane, Janesville.

Meyers was convicted of three counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child in 1999. He’s listed as a lifetime registrant on the Wisconsin Sex Offenders Registration Program.

Under conditions of his relocation, Meyers is allowed to have no unsupervised contact with minors.

Meyers is set to move in at Rock Valley Community Programs on December 30th.
