There will be more Pistons and Props at the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport next summer.
Propel Forward, the nonprofit behind Pistons and Props, got the sign-off from the airport board Monday morning.
Liz Menz, a vice president with Propel Forward, says 2,500 people attended the two-day plane and car show in 2024.
Plane displays, rides, flyovers and fly-bys; a car show; live music; and educational activities for kids all will be back at the airport on July 18 and 19.
Two changes for next year: Attendees will be able to carry their alcoholic beverages throughout the festival grounds. And Friday night will be a salute to veterans with music and food as planes arrive ahead of Saturday’s festivities.
