Hundreds — if not thousands — of books are out for browsing and buying at the Olde Towne Mall in downtown Janesville.

The 63rd American Association of University Women used book sale kicked off Thursday, continues through this weekend and resumes next weekend.

Proceeds from the sale go toward the AAUW’s scholarship fund. The group provided six $1,000 scholarships to Class of 2024 graduates.

Sale hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each of the next two Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. next Friday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. next Sunday.

On the sale’s final day, customers can fill a grocery bag with books and pay just $10.
