The Parkview School District is searching for its next superintendent.
Last month, the Orfordville-based district contracted with K-12 consulting firm Hazard, Young and Attea to spearhead the search.
Next up will be a series of 11 focus groups on Monday and Tuesday between an HYA representative and different district constituencies such as parents, administrators, athletic boosters and others.
The search firm wants feedback on the district’s strengths, challenges it faces and what traits people would like to see in the next superintendent.
The district is accepting superintendent applicants through Nov. 29. HYA will select candidates for interviews in December with final interviews expected to take place in January.
A new superintendent would begin work at the start of the 2025-26 fiscal year on July 1, 2025, with Superintendent Dr. Wayne Anderson set to retire.
