The Sustainable Janesville Committee announces it’s 2024 Sustainable Janesville awards recipients.
Environmental Compliance Coordinator Kate Jackson says the Paw Print Park Pack was recognized for there efforts in transforming an ecological disaster into a beautiful pollinator meadow, urban habitat, and restored prairie.
The second winner is Josh Erdmann who was nominated for his many efforts in developing and maintaining his pollinator flower and vegetable garden. He promotes environmental education and awareness while supporting sustainability and safety.
Jackson says the purpose of the awards is to reward, recognize, and promote innovation and leadership in sustainability by businesses, community groups, and individual residents of the City of Janesville.
