The newest installment of PBS Wisconsin’s Hometown Stories series may feature a few familiar locations.

History Producer Kyra Lyons says Beloit will be the 14th community featured on the documentary series.

Lyons says the goal of the program is to tell Wisconsin’s history one town at a time.

The program will premiere statewide on October 21st at 8:00 p.m. on PBS.

Area residents will have a chance to see the full history documentary ahead of the broadcast premiere at a free community screening at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 17th at the Eclipse Center in Beloit.
