It’s not every day the City of Beloit commissions a new ladder truck.

Director of Strategic Communications Sarah Lock says the City will officially place Ladder 131 into service with a wet down – push back ceremony.

Lock says the event involves spraying the truck with water from another apparatus and then pushing it by hand into the fire station.

The event will take place at 10:00 Friday morning at the Beloit Fire Department.
