The 25-year-old Janesville woman accused of trying to take a police officer’s taser while a K-9 was latched onto her buttocks is bound over for trail.
In Rock County Court last week Krista Eash waived her right to a preliminary and entered not guilty pleas to charges of resisting an officer soft tissue injury, battery to a law enforcement officer, attempt to disarm a peace officer, and five counts of felony bail jumping.
According to the criminal complaint, a Janesville Police Officer was trying to arrest Eash for active felony warrants when a fight ensued.
K-9 Viktos latched onto Eash’s right butt cheek, but she continued to resist arrest. When the officer got out her taser, Eash tried grabbing it and rolling over. She eventually bit the officer.
Eash was taken into custody after other officers arrived and tased her.
She’s currently being held in the Rock County Jail on a $7,500 cash bond.
