The cause of a fire on Janesville’s north side is under investigation.  Firefighters were called to the 200-block of East Memorial Drive at 1:32 a.m. Thursday for a fire at a commercial property with an attached residence.  First responders say fire was seen coming from the roof as they arrived.  No one was hurt and the fire did not extend into the residence.  Damage estimates are close to $270,000.
