Crews from the City of Janesville are finally putting a dent in all the storm debris residents have dragged to their curbs since June 22nd when an EF-2 tornado tore through the south side of town.

Operations Director Maggie Darr says they finished up their first pass of the tired priority area on Friday.  Darr says citizens need to have all branches, trees, and brush out on their curb by Sunday, July 7th.
The priority response area is also expanding to include residential properties from Kellog Avenue south to the City limits, between South Oakhill Avenue and Center Avenue.
Darr says the City is waiving the fees and the compost site and sanitary landfill through July 6th so residents can drop off any other non-tree related storm debris.
