10 years after adopting its first strategic plan, the City of Janesville is doing the first major overhaul of this roadmap to the future.

Assistant to the City Manager Nick Faust says this document sets priorities, focuses efforts, and establishes goals that help make decisions on policies, programs, and processes.

Faust says the City has created a Social Pinpoint website that provides residents easy access to information about the strategic planning process and opportunities to share feedback using interactive features, including an online survey, ideas walls, and a discussion board.

The City of Janesville is also hosting community forums on July 17th at 6:00 p.m. at Riverside Park, and July 18th at 2:00 p.m. at the Hedberg Public Library and at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall.
