The Superintendent of the School District of Janesville is commenting on an incident in April where two teachers resigned amid an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Mark Holzman says the district acted immediately after the allegations came to light, but didn’t inform the media until an open records request was filed.

Alexsia Saldaris and Jennifer Larson are accused of trying to solicit a student for a foursome. Saldaris is also accused of sending the teenager pictures of herself in lingerie and letting him drive a district van.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s online licensing website, both women’s teaching licenses are under investigation.
