Beloit residents can enjoy a summer packed with plenty of new and returning activities from the city’s recreation division.
Director of Strategic Communications Sarah Lock says one new program is Paint Pioneers, which will be held Wednesday’s at Leeson Park and those participating will be given a new canvas board every week to paint their desired creation.
Lock says pickleball is also going to be a big part of their plans this summer, with not only a 4th of July tournament, but also a new mixed doubles league Wednesday nights at Wooton Park.
The full summer recreation guide can be viewed by visiting the city’s recreation website.
