The Janesville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau’s Visitor Information Center at Palmer Park is officially open for the season.

Executive Director Christine Rebout says it serves as a vital resource for both residents and travelers seeking information about Janesville’s attractions, events, and amenities.

Rebout says volunteers play a crucial role in providing friendly assistance and showcasing the best of Janesville to visitors. People interested in volunteering are encouraged to call the JACVB at 608-757-3171.

In 2023, the Visitor Information Center welcomed and assisted nearly 800 visitors from 28 states, plus 3 territories in Canada, the UK, and Germany.
