The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office is releasing the name of the 60-year-old Milton man who was killed in a single-vehicle crash west of Janesville over the weekend.

The Rock County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident on North Britt Road near West Fenrick Road a little after 6:30 Sunday night.

Investigation revealed a vehicle operated by Thomas Bobzein was traveling north and failed to negotiate a curve, entered the ditch, and hit a tree.

Bobzein was taken to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville and was later pronounced dead.

The Medical Examiner’s Office says preliminary results of the autopsy confirm that Bobzein died from injuries sustained in the crash.
