It appears Rotary Botanical Gardens is expanding again.

The attraction in Janesville is looking to construct a new 2,800 square foot greenhouse.

Senior Planner Brian Schweigl says in order to make that happen the Botanical Gardens have submitted a request to re-zone two city-owned parcels of land on Sharon Street.

Schweigl says the properties were donated in 2021 for future use by Rotary Gardens.

(Monday) night the Janesville City Council referred the matter to the Plan Commission with plans to bring it back before the City Council in July.
