Mental health is a focus of the Rock County Public Health Department’s most recent community heath improvement plan after a community health assessment indicates citizens are having trouble accessing mental health care services.

Public Health Strategist Shari Faber says the health department is launching a new web-based resource called CredibleMind.

Faber says the online tool can help meet the need by offering proven self-help strategies to intervene earlier, provide support for people waiting for appointments, and build skills to maintain wellness.

Citizens can access the resources 24/7 via a link on the Rock County Public Health Department website.

People who check-In in the month of May will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card from CredibleMind.
